Eight toughest interrogators on TV

August 31st, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 10:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

I have seen a post on TV Squad ranking eight toughest interrogators on the screen. I think it is really cool. i make some changes and post it here, as follow.

The fine art of interrogation may seem lost thanks to suspects lawyering up and the Miranda warning. Whatever happened to the days when a snarling cop could throw a perp against a brick wall to get him to squeal? Or a sly questioner could finagle a confession by laying on a guilt trip? Still, there are some very clever, brilliant interrogators plying their trade on these days. In fact, when you look at these eight interrogators, you’ll probably agree that they know just how to get to the truth. Here are the eight top interrogators on TV today:

8. Captain James Brass, CSI

Brass is the most "old school" of all these interrogators. He’s like Andy Sipowicz from NYPD Blue, only without the violence. Brass talks to suspects with a modicum of respect, but a healthy cynicism. He’s seen it all and knows the truth is in there somewhere. He asks questions and waits for them to trip themselves up. When they do, he has them write it down. Despite the laconic attitude, Brass has the brass to get the job done.

7. Detective Robert Goren, L&O: CI

Intensity personified, Bobby Goren is like a brilliant chess master. He analyzes a case, deciphers clues, and gets inside the head of the criminal. Goren uses the powers of his mind more than intimidation or cajoling to get a suspect to reveal the truth. Sometimes he comes close to going too far with his intuition, especially within the confines of the NYPD, but Goren has proven that he’s very good at interrogation.

6. Patrick Jane, The Mentalist

With his background as a fake psychic, Patrick Jane has highly developed observational skills. Like he is prone to say, he pays attention. Those skills, similar to Cal Lightman, make it easy for Jane to spot a liar. He also has a lot of the same charm that Brenda Johnson exudes, although Patrick is more of a smart aleck. But his smile is very disarming and often helps him get to the truth.

5. Sam Axe, Burn Notice

There are a myriad of scams and cons that Sam has employed in his days with the FBI that make him truly expert at interrogation. With Michael and Fiona, Sam is adept at playing different roles in these games. Whether it’s faking someone into think his buddy has ratted him out, or making a baddie believe he’s about to be thrown out of a fifth floor window, Sam succeeds in getting the information he needs … in between beers or mojitos.

4. Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, The Closer

Chief Johnson has the constraints of the law when she’s interrogating a suspect, and while she may bend the rules, she rarely breaks them. No, the secret of her success as the ultimate closer — the one who can get a confession — is her Southern charm and courtesy. She kills them with kindness, gets friendly, wheedles and cajoles. Brenda’s style may seem obvious, but she’s clever and wily.

3. Gregory House, M.D, House

Technically speaking, House doesn’t really interrogate the way these others do. However, he is seeking the truth when trying to diagnose disease, and in his quest for the cure, he’s unrelenting in questioning the patient. House cynically assumes that everyone lies, so for him there’s advantage from the get-go. Still, few can hold up to House when he’s dug in and on the case.

2. Cal Lightman, Lie to Me

How can anyone hope to lie to Dr. Lightman? He’s a superb interrogator because he cannot be fooled. His attention to the most insignificant facial expressions, gestures and such makes him very much a human lie detector. Oh, sure, he has every computer and facial recognition software at his disposal, but a lot of his brilliance is all in his head.

1. Sayid Jarrah, Lost

Is there really any doubt that Sayid is the most adept interrogator in this group? It could be because he’s the most ruthless and determined. His training with the Iraqi Republican Guard has taught him well, even though he rejects using those heinous skills. Nevertheless, when pressed into duty, Sayid’s forms of torture would make anyone talk.

Shakespeare in Landscapes Art— Joseph Mallord William Turner

August 28th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day

Thou art so lovely and so temperate

Shakespeare wrote this, can Joseph Mallord William TurnerShakespeare in Landscapes Art as Alfred Lord Tennyson said – express such feelings with his landscapes.

J.M.W. Turner is known as the greatest painter in British, whose work was exhibited when he was still a teenager. He totally improved the status of landscapes. Before that, landscapes are nothing compare to history painting and portrait, while Turner give the landscapes the power of life. Before Turner, landscapes are considered a sleight of representation of scenes. But Turner succeeded in using landscapes to show the strong and various emotion of human instead of just describing the scenery. Tennyson is absolutely right about him, he did worth the title of Shakespeare of landscapes art, the power of his using painting to show his or others’ emotion or maybe the heart activity of human when they deal with the nature is nothing inferior to Shakespeare’s using his sonnets. And just like Shakespeare did in his sonnets, the nature in Turner’s painting is spectacular, eternal and magnificent while life is fleeting. Just like the famous sonnet:

And every fair form fair sometime declines

By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed

In Shakespeare’s poem, nothing would last forever but this poem, and as the poem is for you, so you will never fade as it goes.

Attach my favorite poem of Shakespeare and favorite painting of Turner.

Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day

Thou art so lovely and so temperate

Rough winds do shake the daring buds of May

And summer’s lease hath all too short a date

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines

And often is his gold complexion dimmed

And every fair form fair sometime declines

By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed

But thy eternal summer shall not fade

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st

Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade

When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st

So long as man can breath or eyes can see

So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Rain, stream and speed

Review of The Women

August 27th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

The women is appropriately named. For during its 110 minutes running time, there is nary a man to be found, not even in the background of crowd scenes. This movies takes place in the same would as Sex and the City, where there are only three things that matter to women: gossip with friends, painting men in the worst possible light, and shopping. The Women contains its fair share of all three, especially the first and third. While the dialogue lacks some of the crispness of Sex and the City, the film as a whole proves to be more tolerable because the characters aren’t as fundamentally repugnant. In fact, the lead - Meg Ryan’s Mary Haines - looks, sounds, and feels like Sally Albright 20 years later. If only the filmmakers had figure this out early enough to name her husband-in-absentia “Harry”
Mary is one of the four female buddies. The other three sides of the quadrangle are Sylvia Fowler, the cutthroat editor of a woman’s magazine; Edie Cohen, a married woman who keeps popping out kids and Alex Fisher, the token minority/lesbian/younger all rolled into one. The latest juicy piece of gossip to land on their plates is that Mary’s supposedly loving husband, Steven, is having an affair with Crystal Allen, a perfume girl at Sakes 5th Avenue. At first, Mary tries to deal with this as advised by her mother: ignore it. When this doesn’t work, she confronts Crystal, then Steven, before filing for divorce. Eventually, when separated with her husband, she discovers two truths: she has not been a good mother and she has never figured out who she really id. The film’s second half represents her journey of self-discovery.
The women is based on a 1939movie that was directed by George Cukor and Diane English has updated it, transporting the characters 70 years into the future. The result is uneven. Some scenes sparkle: the ones featuring Candice Bergen Midler, and the mother/daughter interaction between Mary and Molly. Others are overwrought, artificial, or saccharine, with the ending in particular falling into all three categories. Glaring by its omission are any scenes between Mary and Steven. I understand that the conceit of the film is that it’s an “actor of free” zone, but the women handles this relationship so clumsily that its on-screen absence calls attention to itself. Having two domestic helpers talk about the break-up argument (which we never see) fails to fill the void. Would it have irreparably damaged The Women’s female purity to have included a scene or two with a man? It’s one thing to have an all-female cast because on man is necessary; it’s another to employ contrivances to contort the script to that none appear.
The cast features an impressive array of star power, but none of these actresses, except perhaps Bergen and Midler (neither of whom has a lot of screen time), is burning at full wattage. Jada Pinkett Smith and Debra Messing feel superfluous, while Annette Bening seems to be coasting, relying on her reputation and innate charisma to pull her through. Meanwhile, Meg is doing her best to re-create the kind of characters she played back when she was box office gold. (Pre-Russell Crowe, that is.) In a way, it’s impressive that she’s so successful, and virtually impossible to believe she’s 46 years old.
This is Diane English’s directing debut, and it shows. Also in evidence is her familiarity with television. The movie is shot like a TV show, with frequent intercut close-ups. Back-and-forth, back-and-forth… It becomes monotonous. There’s nothing visually interesting about this film, and when English tries to do something "innovative" at the end using a split-screen, it comes across as a desperate attempt to vary The Women’s visual staleness. Based on her Murphy Brown work, English has shown herself to be an adept, perceptive, and at times funny writer, but too little of that is on display here. Aside from some pointed one-liners and occasionally effective conversations, there’s little in this screenplay worth savoring or remembering.

Danyl Johnson’s X-Factor audition

August 26th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

Danyl Johnson, the 27-year-old teacher hit the show X Factor last Saturday and now the internet. The X Factor is a British television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. It is said to be the British counterpart for American Idol. Since his first performance on the show (he performed the famous Beatles’ classic “With a Little Help from My Friends”), the item “Danyl Johnson video” became one of the hottest searched items. And the name Danyl Johnson became famous. On Monday, the official clip on YouTube had registered about 600,000 views since the weekend. Twenty-four hours later, the count had doubled to almost 1.2 million.

In the days since his performance, the British press has been reporting exhaustively on Johnson’s personal history, just as it did following Boyle’s appearance on "Britain’s Got Talent" in April. The 27-year-old is a schoolteacher from Reading, England, who has fallen short in other attempts to make it big as a singer. According to The Daily Mirror, he has been in two boy bands, Upfrunt and Streetlevel, but neither of them ever caught on. The paper also reported that Johnson performed on television with a rock band called Empty Spaces and has auditioned for "X Factor" three times.

Apparently this time the judges were highly impressed and virtually blown away with his superb performance., Cheryl Cole said he is a natural performer and I would take you in my category any day and Simon Cowell gave a standing ovation and said “That was single-handedly the best first audition I have ever heard, He could be one of the best contestants we’ve ever had.” Undoubtedly these are pretty highly comments.

Danyl Johnson quickly shot to frontrunner status, raising questions about whether he’d become the next incarnation of Scottish chanteuse Susan Boyle. Certainly Danyl won the hearts of many audiences and largely recognized as a Susan Boyle-like YouTube sensation, while some people may take a negative opinion towards this. Some people hold the view that he only did the theatrics to take attention away from the fact that his voice wasn’t that good. Here is a comment after one of the related posts, Danyl definitely has a powerful voice, but he definitely didn’t hit every note. There have been lots of people on "Idol" who would have done just as well with that song. BTW, maybe the writer could have bothered mentioning this was a cover of Joe Cocker’s version of the song. (to the author: if somehow you have problem towards this, please leave me a message, I will remove it first time )

Anyway, every person has his preferences.

What’s your opinion? Take a look at the video.

Michael Beasley enter rehab

August 25th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

Former Wildcat stand-out and Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley has reportedly checked himself into a rehab facility. According to Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, Beasley checked into a rehabilitation hospital in Houston. Wojnarowski said the Heat encouraged Beasley to go to the facility to “address possible substance and psychological issues.”

Several disturbing posts had been made on Beasley’s Twitter page over the past days, and could have stemmed from a photo that he posted of himself and his new tattoo. The issue with the photo is the small plastic bag in the background, which many people speculated contained marijuana. His Twitter page was shut down on Saturday night.

The photo is not the only thing you can find in the twitter. According to a cached version of his deleted Twitter profile, Beasley tweeted late Friday: "Feelin like it’s not worth livin!!!!!!! I’m done." Four hours later he said: "not feelin this at all!!!!!" It seems that Michael is getting through a depression period. And I hope the rehab can help him to get out of it.

This wouldn’t be Beasley’s first run-in with the drug. He was fined $50,000 last summer at a rookie camp with for being in a room where marijuana was found. Former KU stars Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur were also in the room with him.

While I care about the matter, I talk about it, just because he is a member of my favorite team, not that I am judging him. what if Michael did smoke marijuana, lots of people do, especially NBA players, I don’t think it is a big deal anyway neither did Beasley has any serious substance abuse problems. Under a certain pressure people may well do that.

The Dead Poets Society

August 24th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 10:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

Peter Weir was on pretty shaky ground when he made Dead Poets Society. Coming on the back of his unsuccessful adaptation of Paul Theroux’s The Mosquito Coast, the success or otherwise of Weir’s school drama spelt the difference between continued employment in America for the director or a spot on the next boat back to Australia.

That Dead Poets Society was a huge hit with both audiences and critics had only so much to do with Tom Schulman’s Oscar-winning screenplay. The tale of a band of public schoolboys (including Robert Sean Leonard’s would-be actor, Josh Charles’ Lothario, and Ethan Hawke’s shy new boy) who have their horizons broadened by John Keating, an English teacher (Williams), Dead Poets Society excels in its approach to the material. Williams’ over-playing has ruined many a movie, but here his too-much style suits a man who sees that, for these over-schooled kids, the imagination represents an undiscovered country. The boys also manage to put real meat on the bones of their clichéd characters. Hawke, in particular, brings both humor and real vulnerability to his young outsider Todd. He’s certainly a lot better than Leonard who seems to have confused playing a boy with stage ambitions with a need to ladle theatricality upon his own performance.

Of course, Dead Poets Society is a tad overwrought at times - the ending, in particular, seems to alienate as many people as it moves. Nevertheless, Weir’s film wonderfully evokes the magic of someone opening the doors of a new world. It’s also a devastating reminder of the agony that follows when those doors are slammed shut.

Cash for Clunker ending

August 21st, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 10:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

The US department of Transportation has announced that the Car Allowance Rebate System, known colloquially as Cash for Clunkers, will have its ending on next Monday, August 24. As it’s reported, the program has nearly exhausted $3 billion in financing, and there is no choice but to put an end to the project which should originally end on November 1.

As of Thursday, more than 457,000 dealers were granted, worth $1.9 billion in rebates. We all know that the program offered rebates of $3500 to $4500 to consumers who traded in older vehicles for new, fuel-efficient ones with an improved gas mileage of on less than 60%. Car dealers deal with the event and then they claim rebates from the government. Depart from the $ 1.9 billion mentioned, there are still unclaimed transactions on the air and the government is seeking for them.

While until now, numerous of dealers are complaining that they are not refund on claims dating back to July when the program began. The government claimed that there have not been “extraordinary delays” in the processing of dealer’s claims. They pointed out that we are selling too many cars too quickly and there is some backlog in application process. And that they have to make sure all the application is qualified and avoid any swindle in requiring rebates.

Well, the government seems have done their best, just as the Inside Line says: As a sales motivator, Cash for Clunkers has certainly been good for stimulating car sales. But the government can only do so much to help.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

August 19th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

It is said that G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is better than Transformer, one and two add up.

Exactly, not that I am saying Transformer suck, I like the film anyway, while G.I Joe just exceeds that. I didn’t expect so much for the movie, but what present to me now is a movie of precise temple, smart suspense and of cause, all kinds of thrilling visual stimulation.

From the point of Scene Type, G.I Joe is much richer than Transformer. At the very beginning, the army got attack and a Vertical battle came. Then the white ghost and the Baroness sneak on the base of G.I. Joe and begin a Cs war. Then the car racing in Paris and finally the under water duel in camp of the Anti-side.

The four scenes are very classical in the movie. They combine real weapon and inventions of science fiction while it goes really smoothly.

At the same time, the movie perfuses all the characters with rich spirit, they are no longer just battle machines, they are all with stories.

The follow is the plot of the movie.

The film opens in France, in 1641. The Scotsman Klan McCullen has been accused of selling weaponry to both the Scots and French. Rather than being executed for treason, the jury brands his face with a white-hot mask in order to humiliate him. In the near future, weapons expert James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) has created a nanotechnology-based weapon capable of destroying an entire city. His company MARS sells four warheads to NATO, and the U.S. Army is tasked with delivering the warheads. Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) are delivering the warheads when they are ambushed by the Baroness (Sienna Miller), who Duke recognized to be his ex-fiancee Ana Lewis. Duke and Ripcord are rescued by Scarlett (Rachel Nichols), Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). They take the warheads to The Pit, G.I. Joe’s command center in North Africa, and upon arriving rendezvous with General Hawk (Dennis Quaid), the head of the G.I. Joe Team. Hawk takes command of the war-heads and excuses Duke and Ripcord, only to be convinced to have them join his group after Duke reveals that he knows the Baroness.

McCullen is revealed to be using the same nanotechnology to build an army of soldiers with the aid of the Doctor (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), planning on using the warheads to bring panic and bring about a new world order. Using a tracking device, McCullen locates the G.I. Joe base and sends Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) and the Baroness to retrieve the warheads with assistance from Zartan (Arnold Vosloo), inflicting casualties on several G.I. Joe soldiers. After a fight, Storm Shadow and the Baroness retrieve the warheads and take them to Baron DeCobray, the Baroness’s husband, for him to weaponize and use them to destroy the Eiffel Tower to serve as a showing of the warhead’s destructive power. Making their way to Paris, the Joes pursue them through the streets but are unsuccessful in stopping them from launching the missile. Duke manages to hit the kill switch, but in doing so he is captured and taken to McCullen’s base under the Arctic.

G.I. Joe locates the secret base and fly there as McCullen loads three missiles with nano-mite warheads. After Snake Eyes takes out one, Ripcord pursues the remaining missiles in a prototype Night Raven jet while Scarlett and her group infiltrate the base. While Scarlett and Snake Eyes attempt to shut down the Arctic base, with Heavy Duty leading an attack on Cobra’s forces, Duke learns that the Doctor is Rex Lewis, Ana’s brother believed to have been killed on a mission led by Duke four years ago. He was trapped in a bunker with Doctor Mindbender (Kevin O’Connor), disfigured in the blast which everyone presumed had killed him. The Baroness tries to free Duke but the Doctor reveals he has implanted her with nano-mites which has put her under his control for the past four years, admitting his amazement that she is resisting the programming. Attempting to kill Duke, McCullen ends up being facially burned as he flees with Rex to an escape vessel. Duke and the Baroness pursue him while the Joes fall back when Rex activated the base’s self destruct sequence.

Rex then heals McCullen’s burned face with nano-mites, encasing it in silver as he christens McCullen "Destro" and assumes the identity of Cobra Commander before they are captured by G.I. Joe soon after. On board the supercarrier USS Flagg, Baroness is placed in protective custody until they can remove the nano-mites from her body. Meanwhile, Zartan, having been earlier operated on by Rex, infiltrates the White House during the missile crisis and assumes the identity of the President of the United States.

Ye Yang won the PGA Championship over Tiger Woods

August 17th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 10:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

Tiger woods’ magical streak, going 8for 8 winning majors when he led after 36 holes, had to become an end sometime.

It happened anyway, on the passed Sunday at the PGA Championship. The unheralded South Korean YE Yang became the person to lead to this end.

We expected that Woods’ magic would be broken someday; however, we never expect it would be Yang to do this.

There are both unlikely things here. For YE Yang winning a major championship and Tiger Woods losing one when he had a two-stroke lead entering the final round.

I don’t think the odds of the two both happened are good.

Going into Sunday, something like the 70-to-1 odds that Yang himself quoted, basing it on the career PGA Tour victory totals of Woods and himself.

So we can’t help to ask, did yang win the PGA Championship himself or Woods lose it? I am not quiet sure about it. Yang obviously had more belief in himself than his tongue-in-check odds-setting indicated.

Let’s take a look at Yang’s achievement in the career.

YE Yang is a South Korean professional golfer. He plays mainly on the Japan Golf tour, where his has won for tournaments. In 2006 he won the Korea Open, an Asian Tour event, and this victory gained him entry into the HSBC Champions Tournament in November 2006. He won the tournament, beating a strong field including Tiger Woods who was second, while they didn’t have a head-on confrontation. This victory earned him membership of the European Tour and moved him into the top forty of the Official World Golf Rankings. In 2008 he played on the PGA Tour after earning his card through qualifying school. He won his first event on the PGA Tour at the 2009 Honda Classic in his 46th career start in the United States.

Apart from his previous achievement, his performance is absolutely remarkable yesterday.

He is very calm in winning. He seemed playing in the cauldron of the final pairing with Woods.

Woods, on the other hand, didn’t look loose. His biggest problem was that it was a day when he just couldn’t seem to read the greens. He hit a number of putts that you could tell he felt he struck right, but they didn’t break the way expected.

Beyond that, he just looked uncomfortable. On his approach shots from the fairway, he was constantly stepping away, wavering on club selection, tossing grass in the air, and more than once bending down to shoo bugs away from the vicinity of his ball.

You may call it just one of those days. But it was the first of those days Woods has ever experienced when leading a major.

With this win, Yang became the second Korean to win on the PGA Tour along with KJ.Choi.

Colonial Bank collapse?

August 15th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

Southern regional bank, Colonial Bank is on the verge of failure, a federal judge said in granting a request made by Bank of America was to freeze Colonial’s assets worth $1 billion.

BB&T will take over Colonial Bank, according to Bloomberg. However, neither the FDIC nor Colonial has reported this. According to Bloomberg, BB&T Corporation is currently taking over both Colonial’s offices and deposits. But the whole thing is confirmed by neither of the parties. So Colonial bank, the biggest bank, collapses?

More than 70 banks have collapsed this year due to the financial crisis, these closures have cost the FDIC nearly $17 billion, and now, financial experts warn that Colonial Bank might be the greatest bank collapse yet.

Certainly, with $25 billion dollars in assets and about $20 billion in deposits, it would be the largest bank to collapse, and things aren’t looking too good for Colonial. Yesterday, a federal judge ruled that Colonial Bank cannot transfer any of its assets. The judge stated, “Viewing Colonial’s contractual breach in conjunction with the fact that Colonial is on the brink of collapse and is suspected of criminal accounting irregularities, the potential for immediate substantial injury to Bank of America is clear.”

Les Paul dead

August 14th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

The most influential guitarist ever—Les Paul died yesterday, at his age of 94. Mr. Paul was a remarkable musician as well as an inventor, He played guitar with leading prewar jazz and pop musicians from Louis Armstrong to Bing Crosby.

In the 1930s he began experimenting with guitar amplification, and by 1941 he had built what was probably the first solid-body electric guitar, although there are other claimants. With his electric guitar and the vocals of his wife, Mary Ford, he used overdubbing, multitasks recording and new electronic effects to create a string of hits in the 1950s.

Mr. Paul’s style encompassed the twang of country music, the harmonic richness of jazz and, later, the bite of rock ’n’ roll. For all his technological impact, though, he remained a down-home performer whose main goal, he often said, was to make people happy and to change the way people saw the guitar.

All along, he refined musical inventions in his workshop. He was an early designer of an electric guitar that had a solid body, and his model managed to reduce sound distortions common to acoustic instruments. He did leave us is famous electric guitar named after him, which can fit the entire requirement above, became one of the favorite guitars of musicians. He actively promoted such guitars for the Gibson company, and the Les Paul line of guitars became commonplace among such musicians as Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend and Jimmy Page.

Les Paul’s devotion to music is more than that, was a visionary, a genius, a pioneer and a legend, far more than I can tell.

Twilight

August 12th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 02:08 pm -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

The movie is a black horse, I have to say, I never expect it could go that long. It came from a best-seller so certainly it would attract a certain amount of people, while it came out that its achievement is more than that.

But it seems the film really deserves the tickets.

This kind of movie, without argument, could easily be recognized by millions of teenage girls. A perfect guy as he is would never happen in the reality. How could you encounter with a guy who own such wisdom at his 17. He’s just like a handsome American straight boy, only no stupid, no obtrusion.

That’s why I said it could easily be recognized by millions of teenage girls. Most of these girls, to same degree, tend to repress their desire. You may like the most perfect guy in the campus while he shows no interest towards you, so maybe he is just a gay. So when you finally meet one, even he is on the screen, you would find yourself in too deep. This movie is rather easily for you to release yourself and enjoy the one, the one you would never meet in reality.

From all the above I didn’t mean the handsome vampire is the only point of the movie, it is more than that, go watching it and maybe we can have a talk about it.

Ashley Greene scandal

August 11th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 02:08 pm -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

Hollywood star scandal, nude photos and video, law issues! Wow, classic!

Twilight star Ashley Greene has nude photo floating around the internet! They hit the net early yesterday. Although many sites have removed the picture as requested by Ashley’s lower, and Perez Hilton, the first person to post the photo, removed it, you can still find them with a bit of digging, some sites are still posting them, both photo and video.

Under an age of all this kind of scandals flowing, why this people just didn’t learn their lessons? Which makes me confused, I guess some people just never learn the hard way. In the age of internet, the most brilliant choice is never taking any nude photos and sex tapes.

This time, we can say Ashley Greene did learn the hard way, while we never know if she did learn the lesson. Ashley Greene, together with the twilight crew just won 11 awards at the 2009 Kids Choice Awards, and she was singled out as Choice Fresh Face Female and called her win “incredible”. While it seems things won’t always be good for one particular person, especially when you are in Hollywood. Hardly did Ashley found her perfect public image, it goes that soon. As the Choice fresh face, can she still be a role model despite her nude picture. Well, my saying would never count, the public would judge it. While what we can decide is how it affects our feelings towards Ashley, not what kind of person Ashley is.

The reader: what you would do?

There are feelings that you just can’t express, such as the feeling towards the movie, the reader.

Hanna’s self-contemptuous: her feeling ill at ease seeing those playing kids during the suburb trip; her tears in the church; her fear to the pan and paper in the court and the awe she showed towards the library in the prison. All these revealed Hanna’s self-humiliation.

While she’s strong enough. She face directly to facts, she never deny what she had done. Her granted and innocent rhetorical question even beated the judge, yes, what you would do? Can you give me a better answer, I am a guard, I do what they told me to, did I have any other choice? No, she didn’t. The judge knew that, he did, while he just ignored it. He, and other people in the court, they wanted to get someone to undertake all the responsible of the guilt of the Nazi, to burden their hatred.

Hanna didn’t deny anything, she couldn’t. She cannot exposure her most humiliating disgrace, even though she had to pay so much for it.

Whose tragedy it is, what should I say, Hanna’s? Or maybe the entire human, we are so narrow to forget or to forgive, how can we disdain Hanna? While how many Hanna it was in War World2? Countless! Why should she bear the entire fault for the history? And how could she bear that?

Again, Hanna is just guard.

And, what you would do?

Cash for Clunker recall

August 7th, 2009 by replicajewelry posted @ 11:08 am -- Posted in Hot news | No Comments »

I wrote two posts on the topic “cash for clunker” before, expatiated how I thought about it. In both of them I generally agree with the move, as a solution to the gloom-and-doom car industry and the economic.

While lately, it seems that something happened, not rather unexpected, and it makes me reconsider the project. The Heritage Foundation had hardly announced their prediction that the project, it would be hard for us to afford, and the process of the payment would somehow be out of control. And now it seems that they got it. According to the AP, theCash for Clunkers” program is being forced to mark time because of a lack of funds.

It is reported that the Gov would set aside $4Billion to support the program while actually, only $1billion are done.

On my last post (about the topic), I told that about 16 thousand dealers signed to be parts of the plan, and now all this dealers are receiving clunkers only to find themselves get stuck in the cash flow, the refunding is quiet slow-motion and demands much and complicated work, and even, sometimes they are refused to refund because of some rather detail problem, which may be the cause of the slow down of the program. And al this, as I just said, are caused by the insufficient of fund and the sophisticated processes of refunding.

Being so much talked about, the final now fill of suspicion and caused speculation, who’s taking the Champion? Thirdly, slightly hopefuls: Brandon and Janette’s thief dance, Jeanine and Jason’s contemporary routine, Karla and Jonathan’s contemporary routine, Randi and Evan’s "butt dance".

Surprise from Senegal—-Akon

Having a musical family birth, Akon shows great talent in music.

Akon was affected by his father, an musician in Jazz, since he was young. When he for the first time listened to Hip-hop, He thought it’s kind of junk music. When he finally find out the temple of Hip-Hop music, he got addicted in it.

After all the achievement he obtained in 2003, he devoted himself on his new album, Konvicted, combining his experience and stories. Later, with the success of Konvicted, he well-known to the world as a sensible and talented singer, and at the same time a creator and a producer.

Akon contact with all kinds of music while he mostly beloved spiritual songs.

During his trip of art, he give us a lot of long-stay songs, among which I love lonely the most. Lonely had the highest clicking rate in the world when it released and it was what made Akon known all around American, even the world.

I considered Akon as a magic and a gift from God, he made mistakes, he lost, but anything happened in his life would became the source of his creation and showed to the world. That why I regard Akon an idol of mine, we are all getting through difficulties and Akon could sign a example for us and motivate us to carry on.

The painted veil

The Music is beautiful, just like the movie, smooth and quiet. A pervasive kind of quiet.
Love the movie, mostly, love the music.
Time is flying though I do not want to say this. Life is changing everyday; it changes you, me and anyone else.
We are aware of it, afraid of it, while we just couldn’t stop it from changing. We are so tiny in front of life.
Time and time again we ask our parents, our friends, our lovers to let us go. Then
what? When they finally let us go we feel scared, disappointed, and tear shows.
I am not going to talk about the tears or the love or the life, anything else. I just want to say something about the movie.

He is an attractive man, at least to me, middle-age, and provide a sense of security.
She is a charming woman, hoping for freedom. Her life is scheduled by her family and for her entire life she wanted to run away from her family.
He fell in love with her at the first sight and she said yes to his proposal though she never loved him because she considered him to be the only path she could get away from her family.
They go to china after their wedding to support the revolution there (he is a bacteriologist). It says that scientists are the most boring group, she thought that he never understood her, she is so youthful and beautiful, she thought she was wasting her time together with him and she could deserve a better life. So it is nothing out of ordinary that she finally had an extra-marital affair. The story goes and she encounter with a married ‘experienced man’, he attract her attention and then they get together, of cause, secretively.
Truth will come to light sooner or later. They got caught by him in one of the embarrassing trysts.
I know he still loved her, so much that he could hardly survive through this. But finally he did, and handled the matter in a painful way. He knew that the paramour would not leave his wife for her, but she didn’t know that. And finally when she did she had to come to a harder-hit area of malaria. She knew that he was punishing her. At first she felt absolutely disappointed about her life, but as the story goes she saw the greatness of her husband and gradually fell in love with him. The night, after being callously treated, she asked, do you really despise me? His answer was, no, I despise myself. (Why) For allowing myself to love you once. Heart-breaking answer, I though, the words he didn’t told is that I really despise myself for loving you even now. Months went by in the harder-hit area and they got to know each other better and later, the get together once more.
The handle details of the movie is the most laudable part, it can touch you so deeply and lastingly.

Elvis and Anabelle

In "Elvis and Anabelle", every terrible tragedy brings about something equally miraculous. Groomed by her overly ambitious mother (Mary Steenburgen), Anabelle (Blake Lively) is on the road to winning the Miss Texas Rose tiara when she dies tragically during a pageant. Her death lands her on the embalming table of Elvis, an embittered young man whose sense of family duty and love for his ailing father (Joe Mantegna) keep him from following his dreams. His family always keeps him from directing his dreams. When Anabelle is miraculously resurrected on Elvis’ embalming table, the two unexpectedly connect and sparks fly between them. With the help of each other and Elvis’ father, they discover love, freedom and happiness as the real world and the demons hidden far behind them threaten to force them apart.

This movie handle all the magic things smoothly, it dose not shows any unharmonious as the store goes. The most valuable thing of his movie is that it is a combine of love, responsibility, dreams, relationship between parents and children, and the conflict of all things. These are almost happen to all of us, the most of our life is permeated of the choice of these things. The answers to all these questions tell what kind of person you are. In the movie, it is their love that leads to solution of all the mess in their life while eventually they also have to defeat their own demons to lead to the finally happiness.
Anyway, as the saying goes, tell you and you’ll forget. Show you and you may not remember. Try it yourself, and you’ll see.
